Attendance at the conferment festivities
Participation in the Doctoral Conferment Ceremony rehearsal on Thursday and in the Doctoral Conferment Ceremony on Friday is compulsory for promovendi. Most events are for invited guests only, and your companion is welcome. Later in this form, you will be able to register for the audience of the Conferment Act some close people, including your companion.Studia Generalia on Thursday are open to public, in addition audience may watch the Procession by the streets. Dress code must be obeyed at all events.

Conferment Ball
Promovendi may register for the dance performance at the Conferment Ball and rehearsals with a companion, or dance with a student marshal. Dance rehearsals will be organized in Joensuu from mid-February onwards, on weekends approximately once a month. Participation in the performance is not mandatory, but it is also possible to watch the dance in audience.
Preliminary enrollment for the dance rehearsals in the spring and the old dance performance in the Conferment Ball at the Sokos Hotel Kimmel on 4 June 2027. Further information will be sent later to enrolled persons by email.

Inviting friends and relatives to the Doctoral Conferment Ceremony
