Participation in an online course may be cancelled within 14 calendar days of registration, provided that the customer has not started completing the course. If the registration is cancelled later, the customer will be charged the full price of the online course, even if the customer has not started completing the course. Completion of the online course is deemed to have begun when the customer has logged into the learning environment using the course key provided. At that point, the right of cancellation is no longer valid.Cancellation must be made by email to verkkokurssit@uef.fi.The online course is available for three (3) months from the date of registration.The course may be cancelled by the organizer without any obligation to pay compensation.The university is responsible for the implementation of the course regarding the agreed schedule, content, teaching facilities, online learning environment, and overall quality of the course. The course is subject, where applicable, to Sections 28, 32, and 34 of the University of Eastern Finland’s Education Regulations. In addition, the student is responsible for completing assignments by the specified deadlines.The language of the course is English.Another person from the same organization may participate in place of the registered customer. Any substitution must be notified in advance or at the latest at the start of the course by emailing verkkokurssit@uef.fi.
