52nd Progress Report Meeting - Young Investigators Award Competition (YIAC)

Organized at the Spring Meeting of the Finnish Cardiac Society on April 15, 2026 in Clarion Hotel Helsinki

Please, note that you cannot save a draft version and the form must be filled in one session. After submitting there is no possibility to make changes/updates to the abstract.

There will be 60 minutes timeline before the online systems shuts down. I.e. if you’ll have a break and do not use the online system for 60 minutes, the system will shut down and you will need to start again from the beginning. You can naturally use the system for however long but the non-using break should not be longer than 60 minutes.

Remember to press ”submit” after completing the form. Submitting the abstract has been successful when you receive ”Thank you for submitting” message to your screen. Should the message not appear on your screen please, check the form for possible unfilled mandatory fields by scrolling the view (unfilled fields are highlighted in red). 

After “Thank you for submitting” message on your screen you will receive an automatic e-mail message confirming your abstract has been received (within 15 minutes). If you do not receive the automatic confirmation by e-mail, please, check your spam folder or contact Finnish Cardiac Society maiju.pikkarainen@fincardio.fi.

 The information collected in Finnish Cardiac Society's Progress Report Meeting 2026 abstracts are subject to data processing to collect applications and select competitors. Without this information FCS will not be able to consider abstracts for the competition. The recipients of these data are the FCS Board, Selection Committee and FCS staff in charge of the selection process. By submitting your abstract, you also agree that if it is accepted for the competition, it will be published in Sydänääni journal and FCS website.

Abstract attachments (tables, figures, pictures)

Maximum file size is 10 MB.

Allowed types of attachment:
Image (.jpg, .png, .gif)
Create the table/figure/picture by using other programs and - save it in picture form (png, jpeg, gif) - there should be no white space or border around the graphics - name the file with your name and number, for example Nieminenpic1.png. You can only attach pictures which fill in the requirements i.e. format png, jpeg or gif. Maximum of two attachments is allowed. Total size of the attachments all together is 50 Mb.

CHECK ONE MORE TIME ALL THE INFORMATION. After submitting there is no possibility to make changes/updates to the abstract. If the information is correct, press "Submit" and watch your screen.

If there will be a red box informing ”Save failed” you will need to check the information again (mandatory fields *) and the abstract is not submitted before the corrections are made and Submit button pressed again with the text “Thank you for submitting” appearing on the screen.

After “Thank you for submitting” message on your screen you will receive an automatic e-mail message confirming the receival and including your abstract.
