ABSTRACT SUBMISSION FORM BIN NORDEN CONFERENCE 2027
The Invisible, Hidden, and Emerging within Children’s Cultures

We invite scholars from different fields to discuss and reconsider topics, products, and practices that have been or still are invisible, hidden, and emerging within children’s cultures.

Abstracts must be written in English and submitted with this form by 23 October 2026 at 23:59 (UTC+2). Paper, workshop and individual proposals as part of a symposium, can be up to 250 words. Overarching symposium proposals should not be more than 250 words. All submissions should be done completely anonymously, to ensure a fair review process. Please do not include your name in the abstract text. Please note that only abstracts submitted using the online system can be accepted. Upon a successful submission, a confirmation will be automatically emailed to you.

The conference is organized by the BIN Norden network in collaboration with the University of Jyväskylä’s Department of Education, Department of Music, Art, and Culture Studies, Child and Family Lab, and the Faculty of Education and Psychology.
