CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

We invite graduate students using the methods of social science history to attend a two-day summer school in Jyväskylä in June 2026. The Summer School in Social Science will address the challenges of research design for methods in social science history.

Only abstracts submitted via this form will be considered. 

In addition, you are requested to download a short application letter and a CV as a single file at the end of the form.

Abstract

Abstracts for papers should not be longer than 200 words. The attached application letter with a CV should be no longer than 500 words. Insert the application letter and your CV as one file through the + ADD FILES button at the bottom of the page. An application letter (400-500 words) includes a brief description of your methodological choices and challenges, and a short personal introduction (CV) including the phase of your doctoral dissertation and name of your supervisor(s).
