ABSTRACT SUBMISSION FORM

How can music help to connect with self and others?
How can we study and measure this across mind, body, and varied contexts?
What are the related next steps in research and engagement platforms?

These are some of the questions that will be addressed at the MUSICONNEX 2026 Conference in September 22-24, 2026.

We welcome original abstracts for in-person and online oral presentations or poster sessions. All abstracts should be written in English with a maximum of 250 words. Note that references are included in the word count. Abstract submission deadline is 31 March, 2026 (23:59 Eastern European Time).
Please note that only abstracts submitted using this online system can be accepted. Upon a successful submission, a confirmation email will automatically be emailed to you.

Please see the conference website for more detailed abstract submission instructions. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to decide on the presentation type and suitable session for the talk.

The conference will be hosted in a hybrid format at the Centre of Excellence in Music, Mind, Body, and Brain, University of Jyväskylä, Finland.
