Welcome to the Dies Medievales 2026 conference!


The 18th Dies Medievales conference will be held in Jyväskylä on March 11–13, 2026.

The event is organized by the University of Jyväskylä.

Please note that registration and payment must be completed in one session. Therefore, please ensure that you are ready to make your payment immediately upon completion of the registration form, invoicing service is not provided. Following a successful registration, a confirmation email with the receipt of payment made will automatically be mailed to your inbox. 

Participation fees: 
Regular participant 65 € / 75 €
Student / Doctoral student 30 €
Invited / Organizer 0 €

The participation fee covers the conference program, receptions, campus tours, and coffee service on Thursday and Friday.

Conference dinner
The conference dinner will be held at Restaurant Harmooni on Wednesday, 11 March.

Table Service Menu
Dishes are served by table.

Starter: Smoked bream cake, red onions and roe sauce
Main course: Beer braised pork shoulder roll, barley risotto with herbs and mixed root vegetables
Dessert: Honey savarin, cloudberries and cream cheese

The restaurant takes special dietary requirements into account if notified in advance.
Vegan menu will be adapted from the vegetarian options on the seasonal cellar restaurant menu.

Terms of cancellation
The registration is binding. Cancellations with requests for refunds must be received in writing by 29 February 2026 at the latest. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received after the given deadline nor will they be given for failure to attend any part of the registration package. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method used and will be processed after the event. Please contact the secretariat at email dies.medievales@jyu.fi regarding all cancellations or changes in participation.
