Wisdom Days - Science for Sustainability Transformations

With this form you can register for the Wisdom Days 2026 conference organised by the University of Jyväskylä School of Resource Wisdom (JYU.Wisdom) in collaboration with Sustainability Transformations Doctoral Education pilot (SusTra). You can find information about the programme on the conference website.

Each participant - including presenters, keynote speakers, committee members, and sponsors - must register individually. Group registration is not available.
Complete the registration and payment in one online session. Invoicing is not available.
After successful registration, you will receive a confirmation email and payment receipt.
Special note for Doctoral researchers: If you do not have travel funding and are applying for the discounted fee, upload a statement from your supervisor confirming this and including their contact details using the "Add files" button.
Dinner tickets are sold separately and seats are limited - register early to secure your spot and notify us if you cannot attend. The after-dinner party next to the dinner venue is free for all participants.
You may also sign up for engaging pre-conference workshops and a post-conference campus tour (not for undergraduate students).

Take advantage of early bird rates and register by 28 February 2026.
Regular rates apply from 1 to 20 March 2026.

This question is only for the staff members and doctoral researchers of the University of Jyväskylä, whose conference participation and/or conference dinner is paid by the faculty/department/project.
Payment will be made by internal invoice after the registration period has ended. Please ensure that you have permission from your department/project. Please indicate the project number/cost center from which the participation fee will be charged.

Registration

The conference fee covers the daily programme including workshops, coffee breaks, welcome reception and stakeholder networking event, campus tour and after-dinner party. Lunches and the conference dinner are not included in the participation fee.
There is a separate fee of 63 € (inc VAT 25,5%) for the conference dinner ticket.
The dinner includes a three-course vegan meal with selected refreshments.
Please note that in the case of cancellation, the dinner payment is non-refundable.

Please select the events you intend to attend. There is a limited number of seats available and they are filled in first come, first served basis.
Kindly note that workshops 1 and 2 take place at the same time. You can only sign up for either workshop 1 OR 2.
If the event is full and you sign up for queue, you will automatically receive an email notification of an available seat. You will have 30 hours to accept the seat.

Participation in the events is limited, and due to their specialized content, they are intended for individuals who hold at least a Master’s degree. Consequently, Bachelor’s and Master’s students are not eligible to attend.

Cancellation Terms
The registration is binding. Cancellations with requests for refunds must be received in writing by 20 March 2026 at the latest. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received 21 March 2026 onwards nor will they be given for failure to attend any part of the registration package. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method used and will be processed after the event. Please contact the organisers via wisdom-days@jyu.fi regarding cancellations or changes in participation.

The organisers will handle the participants' registration data in the event organising process.
