28th Nordic Particle Physics Meeting

The 28th Nordic Particle Physics Meeting will take place at the traditional Hotel Thon Skeikampen
in the mountainous Innland region of Norway, about 40km northwest of Lillehammer. The meeting is organised by
the Department of Physics at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland and Helsinki Institute of Physics (HIP).

The conference runs from Thursday 2nd January to Tuesday 7th January 2025.
Thursday and Tuesday are travel days to Svingvoll.

The program includes lectures and overview presentations on some of the currently most
prominent topics in particle, astroparticle physics and theory. 

Each participant must individually fill in the registration form. Group registration or invoiving service are not available.
Please note that registration and payment must be completed in one session. Therefore, please ensure
that you have your payment details (credit card) at hand before you begin completing the registration form.

Early bird rate of 200 € is valid until 31st October. Thereafter registration fee is 250 € until 30th November.  

Following a successful registration, a confirmation email together with the payment receipt will be
automatically emailed to you.

2. Participation

The participation fee includes bus transfer from the airport to the hotel and back, access to programme, coffees, lunches and conference dinner during the meeting days.
Accompanied persons register only for the dinner.

3. Additional information

Organizers will provide two busses from Oslo Airport Gardermoen to Hotel Thon Skeikampen on Thursday 2nd January. The first bus leaves at 14:00, or earlier if it gets full. The second bus leaves at 16:00. Return busses leave from Skeikampen in the morning of Tuesday 7th January such that they arrive to Oslo Airport Gardermoen before midday. Please book your flights according to these schedules, if you want a transport.

Transport

A: I will need a transport from Oslo Airport Gardermoen to Hotel Thon Skeikampen on Thursday 2nd January. *
B: I will need a transport from Hotel Thon Skeikampen back to Oslo Airport Gardermoen on Tuesday 7th January. *
Busses reach Oslo Airport Gardermoen before midday.

Accommodation

Terms of cancellation
The registration is binding. A 50% refund will be issued to the cancellations received in writing by 31 December 2024. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received 1 January 2025 onwards nor will they be given for failure to attend any part of the registration package. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method used and will be processed after the event. Please contact the organisers by email sami.s.rasanen@jyu.fi regarding all cancellations or changes in participation. 

Privacy Policy 
The conference is organised by the Department of Physics, University of Jyväskylä together with Helsinki Institute of Physics (HIP). The organisers will handle the participants' registration data in the event organising process. Participants' data may only be disclosed to specified third parties if this is required to ensure proper organisation of the event.
