HEALTH FOR CHILDREN WITH MUSIC - The 1st International Conference on Children's Music Therapy

The 1st International Conference on Children's Music Therapy, "Health for Children with Music", is organised as part of International Music Therapy Week in collaboration with the University of Jyväskylä, the Finnish Society for Music Therapy, and HUS Helsinki University Hospital, Child Psychiatry, University of Helsinki.

International Music Therapy Week comprises two events: The 1st International Conference on Children's Music Therapy (April 26-27, 2022) and The 10th Nordic Music Therapy Conference (April 28-30, 2022), both held at the Marina Congress Center, Helsinki, Finland. 

A reduced registration fee is offered for those registering for both events.
***Please note that there are seperate registration processes for each conference, and that registration openings/deadlines may vary per conference.***

"Regular" for in-person attendees and/or presenters
"Student" for in-person student attendees and/or presenters
"Invited Speaker" for all invited plenary session speakers.

Note! All in-person attendance options include access to the online library of pre-recorded presentations.

"Online ONLY" registration is for virtual attendees, and grants access to our online library of pre-recorded presentations, available until May 30, 2022. Note! Not all presentations will be made available online. More information about registration options can be found on our website.

Terms of cancellation
The registration is binding. Cancellations with requests for refunds must be received in writing one month prior to the event. A EUR 50 processing fee will be applied to the refund requests recevied by the given deadline. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received after the given deadline nor will they be given for failure to attend. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method used and will be processed within 30 days providing that the refund request is approved. Please contact the secretariat at regarding all cancellations or changes in participation.

The symposium is organized by Department of Music, Art and Culture Studies, University of Jyväskylä (JYU) in collaboration with Helsinki University Hospital (HUS) - Child Psychiatry, and the Finnish Society for Music Therapy, and all organising parties will handle the participants' registration data in the event organising process.
